The Holmer Exxact HR 9 is a Sugar Beet Harvesting Header available in Farming Simulator 17. It is the only Sugar Beet header in the base game, and will only work when installed on a Sugar Beet Combine Harvester. It competes directly with the Tractor-mounted Grimme FT 300 and Grimme Rootster 604, and can perform both their jobs simultaneously and better. The only downside is the massive cost of this tool and the Combine Harvester required to use it.
Advantages[]
- Combined Action: The HR 9 simultaneously cuts the haulms off the Sugar Beets and collects them.
- Wider: With a Working Width of 4.0 meters, the HR 9 is significantly wider than both the Grimme FT 300 and Grimme Rootster 604 (at only 2.9 meters). It can therefore process the crops about 33% faster than either of those machines.
- Faster: The HR 9 imposes a Working Speed limit of 12 km/h / 7 mph. While this is slower than the Grimme FT 300, it is faster than the Grimme Rootster 604.
Disadvantages[]
- Expensive: The HR 9 is the most expensive Header of any type. This tool alone costs almost as much as the Grimme FT 300 and Grimme Rootster 604 combined. Furthermore, to use the HR 9 you also need to buy a Sugar Beet Combine Harvester for a massive amount of money. The only available model of Combine Harvester in the base game, the Holmer Exxact Terra Dos T4-40, costs $495,000.
