The Joskin Drakkar 8600 is a tipper available in Farming Simulator 17. It is a large-class tipper, with plenty of cargo space, and the largest tipper in the base game with a Drawbar (Ball) attachment that can carry any type of solid cargo. This is a fairly good model for general-purpose cargo transport using a tractor.
Advantages[]
- Largest of its Type: The Drakkar 8600 is the largest tipper in the game that has both the ability to carry any type of solid cargo as well as a Drawbar (Ball) attachment that can hook up directly to a tractor. All larger models in the base game either have a Fifth Wheel attachment, or can only carry a limited variety of cargo.
Disadvantages[]
- Heavy: The Drakkar 8600 is quite heavy when empty, and even heavier when full of cargo. Consider getting at least a Large tractor to tow it (350+ Horsepower) or even a truck.
- No Rear Attachment Point: The Drakkar 8600 does not have any attachment points at the rear. If you want to hook it up in a chain, it has to be the rearmost Tipper.
- No Side Unloading: The Drakkar 8600 cannot unload to either side. It can only unload through its rear door or through three small grain doors.
